Social Plugins

This website uses so-called social plugins of the social network operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA, ("Facebook"). In general, you can recognise them from the "like" button on the site.  Here you will find a list of the Facebook plugins :

When you visit this website, a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook servers is established via the plugin. Facebook transmits the content of the plugin directly to your browser, which then integrates the content directly into the web page. Thus, unfortunately we have no control over and no knowledge about the extent of the information collected by Facebook via this plugin.

Thus, Facebook receives information about a user having accessed the particular page of the website. If you are logged into Facebook, Facebook can assign the visit to your Facebook account. By clicking the plugin, information to this effect is sent from your browser directly to Facebook and saved there. Even if you are not a Facebook member, there is still the possibility for Facebook to find out and store your IP address. According to Facebook, in Germany the relevant IP address is only stored in an anonymised form.

Please refer to: to learn more about the purpose and amount of data collected, the further processing and use of the data by Facebook as well as your rights in this respect and settings options. It is also possible to block Facebook social plugins with add-ons for your browser, for example by using "Facebook Blocker" or the add-on "AdBlock Plus" for Firefox.
